Tattoos have been a subject of interest for me since childhood.
Every tattoo is a story. And there are so many stories to be told and to be read. It is an absolute honor to facilitate such narratives for those who have a genuine appreciation for the art form, as I do.
The work done at Black Spot Tattoo Company is not just about tattooing.
It’s about connections and relationships.
Struggles and milestones.
It’s about expression and confidence and individuality.
It’s about art.
Services
-
All consultations are free. This is a 30 minute appointment to discuss your ideas and visions in person or virtually.
-
Mock-up sessions happen in person and can take up to 2 hours. This service is reserved for clients who have committed to a sleeve project and would like to see the full layout on their skin prior to the first tattoo session.
-
All sessions are booked through my assistant, Laura. Unless a sudden cancellation has occurred, my schedule stays booked for about 8-10 weeks out. If you have dates in mind, please plan to book accordingly.
-
Every tattoo done at Black Spot Tattoo Company is guaranteed a free touch-up. This ensures that we get healed photos and allows us to refine our work if necessary.
Available designs are listed with price and time estimates. Designs are only tattooed once but variations can be created if you see a sold out piece that inspires you. Thank you for considering original art and supporting the artist.
Featured Client for November 2023
Brad has been a client of mine for two years. His first Black Spot experience happened while he lived in the DFW area. Despite the road trip required, he continued to come to me nearly every single month in order to start and finish his Jimmy Buffett themed half sleeve. Earlier this year, he informed us that he would be moving to Virginia to be closer to family. And it blows my mind that he still flew in at the beginning of November to obtain even more art from me.
This is the latest piece added to Brad’s Black Spot collection. He wanted a bee and honeycomb to represent his love of making mead. His only other specification was “however you want to do it.”
I don’t seize color often. But my relationship with Brad has taught me many things, the most important being his love of color. So here we are with a beautiful piece of art and a friendship in which I am proud to take part.
